The MHPA is launching a new program aimed to help connect beekeepers with landowners who are willing to host bees. In this initial launch of the BeeYardMatch program, we are trying to pair commercial beekeepers with landowners. We plan on expanding this program to include apiaries of all sizes in the near future.

Do you have land where honey bees can thrive in the spring and summer? Beekeepers in Minnesota need access to land for their honey bees. Easy access (think pallets, forklifts, trucks, etc.) is important and flowers are a plus. Yard rent is paid in honey by the beekeepers and you will be supporting agriculture’s most important pollinator.
