This Field Day is for experienced beekeepers who are looking for advanced training. Please bring your own protective gear, but leave your hive tools at home!
Our previous Field Day topics included: Queen Rearing, Comb Honey Production, Demaree Method, Colony Health Checks, Bear Fences and more!
This year’s program has yet to be finalized. Last year’s event included Commercial Beekeepers: Dan Whitney, Mark Sundberg, Jon Holte, Jeff Hull, Wes Hull University of Minnesota Extension: Dr. Katie Lee. Also joining us at the 2025 event were Dr. Meghan Milbrath and Dr. Marla Spivak who shared their bee health, beekeeping, and queen breeding expertise.
The Registration cost for 2026 will be $65 for MBA members, and $75 for non-members
Registration will be available online only. Participation will be limited. There will be NO opportunity to register on the day of the event.
